Our Expertinsight

“I suggest that if you have time, add extra days on Skye. Eat a huge Scottish breakfast and take the time to explore some little-known sites along some of the no-exit roads. Get out of the car, and walk, hike, extend yourselves. Make the day last as long as possible by packing a picnic, and push until the end of the daylight each day. There are so many great views, and it’s a shame to not try to see as many as possible. Who knows when you’ll be back?”

We enjoyed our trip to Scotland very much. Jane found lovely hotels for us and recommended the train between Glasgow and Oban and then Fort William which was a lovely ride. Our experience with Jane and the High Point Holidays team was excellent. Would highly recommend!

My husband and I had a wonderful Scotland experience thanks to High Point Holidays! I sent an explanation of what type of things we wanted to do and see, and William curated a whole trip just for us! He did a fantastic job of matching our style of local and active, plus our love of Outlander, to the selected accommodations and tours. Then once it was all set up, Marion answered any questions we had prior to the trip. The digital Roadbook they provide is great. Through using the High point Holidays service, with William and Marion that were experts in Scotland, we ended up with a well planned trip with fantastic guides, experiences and locations that we will remember for a lifetime.
