Our Expertinsight

“Whilst there is no doubt that London is one of the BEST cities in the world, exploring the smaller cities of northern England will give you such a wonderfully well-rounded experience of English culture and people. Famous for their hospitality, the Mancunians will make you feel as though you are visiting friends and only stopping by for two days just won’t seem enough! The music scene in Manchester is phenomenal and whilst there are so many live music venues to visit, ‘Band on the Wall’ and ‘Stage and Radio’ are two iconic must-visit locations that have hosted some of the UK’s most famous musical acts over the years. Liverpool is amazing all year round, but visiting at the end of October when the River of Light festival is on at the waterfront is a stunning experience!”

This was my first experience with a travel service and I was very pleased. Extremely accessible and responsive. All arrangements were ready for us as promised. The accommodations were both top notch and good value for money. Suggestions for our activities were in line with what they learned about us prior to starting to plan.

Jane did an excellent job of communicating with us. In just a short period of time we were able to develop an outline of our itinerary that we constantly revised and improved upon. In the end, we have just returned from England and what was absolutely one of the best trips our family has ever had. With so many moving parts, so many transportation and ticketing requirements, having Jane and the team organize everything made it a seamless and wonderful experience. The locations for our lodging could not have been better suited for what we wanted and had asked to have.Thank you to Jane and the entire High Point Holidays team. We will certainly be in touch for our next overseas adventure. I recommend Jane and High Point Holidays to anyone looking to travel to Europe, but not having a solid idea of what they want to do.
