Appropriate Clothing and Equipment
The following check list presents the equipment and clothing you may wish to take with you on your walking holiday. We have listed them under what we consider to be essential and optional items. After booking your walking holiday you will be sent further information which will include a kit list specific to your holiday, as the items will vary depending on your walking holiday destination. For example, some walks in the French Alps and our treks in Africa will require specific gear, such as head torches. We have a section on the web called holiday advice where you'll find useful advice and information, some of it relating to walking equipment and clothing.
