2017 - Jura Wine Trail (Independent Walking)

"Usual high standard. Thanks William." J & S Allen, Australia

"We enjoyed the time to relax together, enjoying excellent food and wine, easy and interesting walks with some fabulous views.....another excellent antidote to the hassle of modern life!" A & N. Blackhall, UK

"We got back yesterday from our trip to the Jura. It was wonderful. Every guest house was special and beautiful; the instructions were perfect; and the hoteliers could not have been more welcoming. I know that our itinerary with returning and getting rental cars made it more complicated (and more work) for you. I am very impressed and grateful that each part worked out perfectly. Thank you so much. We look forward to more trips with High Point Holidays." M Shames, USA

"Thank you so much for all your great organisation and attention to detail. Every thing went very smoothly, and your walking notes were, as before in the Beaujolais, absolutely brilliant, by far the best of any we have encountered in the various walking holidays we have undertaken." H & J Campbell, Australia

"We enjoyed the variety of scenery and places to stay. It felt like a brilliantly friendly part of unspoilt France. We really loved it. Thank you." T & P Broughton, UK

"Enjoyed meeting all the hosts, sampling local dishes and wines, and the old towns of Arbois, Poligny, Chateau Chalon and Baume. As before, a great holiday." A & C Nicholls, UK

"A delightful holiday! Food, wine and scenery wonderful. The accommodation was all of high standard and each had its own distinctive character." C & J Parish, UK.

"The "Jura Wine Trail" independent walking tour was our second High Point Holidays tour. It took us through breathtaking countryside by day, placed us in wonderful guest houses by night, and introduced us to the really interesting wines of the region. Our hosts were uniformly friendly and gracious, and the day-to-day details of the tour went pretty much without a hitch. If you're interested in this kind of walking holiday, we strongly recommend High Point Holidays!" R. Thompson, USA

2015 - Jura Discovery: Wine Trails and Medieval Villages (Guided Walking)

A group of 14 from the Tunbridge Wells U3A:

"Thank you for a splendid holiday in the Jura. I thoroughly enjoyed the walks. The accommodation was very good and the food superb." J. McGrath, UK

"We enjoyed the holiday, the lovely scenery and views. The Hotel was excellent and the food and picnics were outstanding. Good choice! The only downside was the prices on their wine list!  Everyone commented on how much they had enjoyed the cheese tour - we are still enjoying the Comte we bought....Many thanks to you and Ann for a great week. O. Williams, UK

"We had a super holiday, (weren't we lucky with the weather!) and you and Ann really worked hard to make it so enjoyable. We do hope that we shall meet again - you are surely at the top of the list for guiding us!" L & E Fielding, UK
