Coastal Trails
Walking holidays in France and UK along classic coastal trails
France and the UK have some of the most beautiful and varied coastlines in Europe. Our coastal trail walking holidays follow some wonderful trails along interesting and picturesque coastal scenery, where each day you'll enjoy a new experience.
In France, we have several independent walking holidays along the Mediterranean coast where dramatic mountains and cliffs plunge towards the blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Our Coastal Provence walking holiday discovers the French Fjords of the amazing Calanques coast close to the pretty port of Cassis, whilst in the west of France our Pyrenees Coastal Trail follows the Catalan coast between France and Spain, rising into the Pyrenees mountains for amazing panoramic views. Following on from this stretch of coastline we have a walking holiday along the Spanish Costa Brava between Cadaques and Llafranc which discovers a varied and relatively quiet coastline with lots of wildlife and historic interest. We also have 4 self guided walking holidays along beautiful and dramatic sections of the Brittany coast in Northern France.
In England, we have three self-guided walking holidays along superb sections of the South West Coastal path. The Dorset Jurassic Coast path along the south coast is one of the most varied and interesting in the whole of England and its natural wonders have been designated a UNESCO World Heritage site. Cornwall's dramatic northern coast is rugged and wild with beautiful inlets and bays sheltering traditional fishing villages, whilst the more gentle South Cornwall Coast has a great variety to enjoy between the maritime centres of Falmouth and Plymouth. In Wales we have chosen a remote and wild section of the Pembrokeshire coast where the path hugs the edge of the cliffs. In Scotland, our independent walking holiday combines the best parts of the classic West Highland Way trail with a few days exploring Britain's last wilderness on the spectacular west coast of Scotland. We will be developing further coastal trail walking holidays in France and Europe, so please keep in touch and if there is somewhere in particular you would like us to create an independent walking tour, please share your ideas with us.
