Why have I received a High Point Holidays Newsletter?

This could have been for several reasons. Either you have entered one of our competitions (see our competition terms and conditions), you have requested a brochure from us, or made a booking or booking enquiry (see general terms and conditions).

Can I unsubscribe from the Newsletter?

Yes, you can unsubscribe at any time, either by e-mail to us ( or by clicking the unsubscribe option at the bottom of the newsletter.

If, for example, I enter another competition, will you re-subscribe me to the newsletter?

No, the software we use, will not allow us to re-add any unsubscribers.

My details have changed, how can I continue getting the Newsletter?

If either your name or e-mail address is changing you can either e-mail us your details or click on the 'update subscription preferences' at the bottom of the newsletter to make the appropriate changes.

What if I cannot access an old newsletter to make changes to my details?

You can access an old newsletter via our website and make changes from there.

If my e-mail address has already changed can I be re-subscribed to the High Point Holidays Newsletter?

Of course you can. On our newsletter page you can enter your new details to continue receiving your copy of 'Highlights.'


Why do you run competitions?

Put simply, it's a marketing tool to help to get people to take a look at our website and engage with our holiday offers. But it also can generate other content, such as book reviews and blogs and allows us to share with our customers some new products that they may be interested in.

I entered one competition months ago, why am I receiving your newsletter?

When you enter a competition we add you to our newsletter subscribers (see terms and conditions.) If you wish to unsubscribe, you can, at anytime.

I have seen your competitions on third party websites. Can I enter the competition without visiting High Point Holidays' website?

Yes you can. BUT be aware that we have experienced circumstances where someone publishes a wrong answer and then many people enter the competition with the same wrong answer. So it is advisable to visit the High Point Holidays' competition web pages to get the correct question and often you will get some clues to the answer.

I really want to win. How many times can I enter a competition?

Just the once I'm afraid. AND only once per household. If you enter more than once per competition or we receive more than one entry for the household (that is one of the reasons that we ask for your address,) then all entries for that person or household will be disqualified for that competition. Therefore, please do not waste our time and yours by entering more than once.

Will I have a better chance of winning if I, for example, request a brochure?

Winners are chosen at random, from the correct entries that qualify. Please do not request brochures unless you are considering a walking holiday; it will not help you to win and wastes our time and yours.
