Walking the Pembrokeshire Coast Path Competition
Win a copy of Cicerone's Guidebook Walking the Pembrokeshire Coast Path - Amroth to St Dogmaels on the Welsh Coast
Published by Cicerone this month (April 2016), this new guidebook has the information you need to help you plan and complete the 180 mile trail along the coast from Amroth, near Tenby, to St Dogmaels, north of Newport. In the book the Pembrokeshire Coast Path is split into 14 stages of between 9 and 16 miles.
The detailed two way route instructions are accompanied by 1:100,000 scale OS mapping. The guidebook is packed with interesting details about the places, landscapes and wildlife encountered along the way. There is also a separate pocket-sized map booklet showing the full route on 1:25,000 scale OS maps.
Opened officially in 1970, the Pembrokeshire Coast Path offers some of the finest walking in Britain, where each turned corner reveals something new.
High Point Holiday's Wonderfully Wild: North Pembrokeshire Coast self guided walking holiday concentrates on a most spectacular section of the coast path with its volcanic headlands and glacial valleys between the town of Newport with its sandy beach to the lovely harbour village of Solva. It is a wild and rugged coastline with high cliffs and steep drops where the coast path hugs the edge of the cliffs to give wonderful viewpoints.
