MOUNTAIN BIKING in france

Want to explore somewhere completely different away from the crowded tourist trails, then why not try the High Beaujolais. The rolling hills in this area have both steep and gentle slopes rising to over 1000m in height, creating ideal terrain for mountain bikers of all levels. There are some 71 trails amounting to nearly 2300km of possible riding, within a relatively small area close to Beaujeu, the ancient capital of the Beaujolais region. The trails are varied, exploring the peaks and valleys of the high Beaujolais, passing through vines, fields and forests. Most trails are fairly short and can be finished within the day or half-day.

Our holidays are designed for those looking for maximum independence and flexibility, whilst having the assurance of quality accommodation and detailed information, so that you can make the most from your holiday.

We provide you with maps, guide books and an information pack. You can hire bikes from us or you can bring your own. Your own form of transport is essential for our single centre based holidays.
