Many customers now wish to take advantage of low-cost flights to France or special deals offered by other transport providers such cross-channel ferry companies. For this reason we have decided to let you make your own travel arrangements. However, if you would like us to help you book your tickets, we will be happy to help.
Guided Walking holidays
Each holiday description provides details of the flights which are practical for that holiday. For the most part, they are flights to Lyon St Exupery Airport with Easy Jet, Bmi and British Airways We can also pick you up from the local train stations such as Lyon Part Dieu and Lyon St Exupery. For other pick-up points please contact us.
Self-guided and other holidays
Each holiday starts on fixed days of the week. There are no fixed times, however, some flights may not prove practical with regard to booking into hotels. Transfers from Lyon airport and rail stations are included in the price of your holiday, unless otherwise stated (for example for golf holidays). Please inform us of your travel arrangements when you make your booking.

By car
The journey from Calais to Lyon takes about 7-8 hours (excluding long breaks). Tolls amount to about 30 euros each way. Controlled parking is available at the airport for 50 euros. Channel crossings are provided by the following companies.
