New Responsible Tourism Section

We are pleased to announce the introduction of a new section of our website dedicated to explaining how we at High Point Holidays seek to create cycling and walking holidays that act responsibly towards the environment and the people, cultures and traditions where we run our holidays. There is a page on how taking the train is the best option and another on how everyone can do their bit whilst on holiday. There is also a page on our support for the cancer charity, Myeloma UK. Find out more on our sustainable tourism policy.

New Top 10 Section

In our new top 10 section there will be a variety of articles about our cycling, walking and trekking holidays, as well as about our destinations including local customs, food, wine, places to visit etc. In fact, just about anything related to our guided and independent walking holidays. Our top ten articles will hopefully give you ideas for future holidays. There is a strong leaning towards France and all things French as many of our holidays are based in this beautiful country. New High Atlas trekking holiday slideshow

We are pleased to announce that a new photo slideshow has been added to our website. The slideshow has photos from our 2009 guided trekking holiday in the High Atlas, Morocco. The photos follow the group from the start of the trek in Imelil, over some high passes, through some stunning scenery such as as Lac Ifni, and includes their ascent of the highest mountain in North Africa, Jbel Toubkal. This guided trekking holiday includes 6 days and five nights on trek, with time to visit the exotic red city of Marrakech afterwards.
